GERAM: Gerakan Aktif Menulis is a scientific publication tool managed by the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau Islamic University. Its purpose is as a vehicle for scientific publication in the form of research results, theory development, experiments, and literature reviews. The frequency of publication is twice a year, in June and December. The article assessment process involves two reviewers who have disciplines relevant to the author's article. Furthermore, the results of the reviewer's assessment are followed up by the editor to be decided.

GERAM: Gerakan Aktif Menulis has been accredited with a score of "SINTA 4" from Volume 9 Number 1 in 2021 to Volume 13 Number 2 in 2025 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia as an achievement for peer-reviewed journals that have excellent quality in management and publication. The recognition was issued through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology Number 105/E/KPT/2022, dated April 7, 2022 concerning the Accreditation Rating of Scientific Journals for the first period of 2022.
