Accepted articles in Journal Geram (Gerakan Aktif Menulis) are subject to an article processing charge. The charge keeps the journal free for readers and covers the costs of managing peer review, production, online hosting, and long-term archiving.

When the Charge Applies

• Submitting a manuscript is free. There is no article submission charge.
• The article processing charge is requested only after a paper has been accepted for publication.
• Payment has no bearing on the outcome of peer review. Editorial decisions are made before any charge is requested.

What the Charge Covers

• Management of double-blind peer review.
• Similarity screening with Turnitin.
• Copyediting, layout, and proofreading.
• DOI registration under the prefix 10.25299/geram.
• Open-access hosting on this site and preservation in the PKP Preservation Network.

Authors are encouraged to check whether their institution or funder can cover the charge before they submit. Any change to the charge will be announced on this page before it takes effect and will not apply to manuscripts already accepted. See also Revenue Source.
