Universitas Islam Riau owns Journal Geram (Gerakan Aktif Menulis). The journal is managed by the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, and published by UIR Press.

The journal’s operation and publication activities are supported by Universitas Islam Riau and by the article processing charge, as described on the Revenue Source page. This model allows the journal to maintain its publication standards, run double-blind peer review, and provide open access to researchers and readers.
