Community Education Engagement Journal (CEEJ) is a peer-review journal published by UIR Press (Universitas Islam Riau). The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thinking or ideas that have been achieved in the field of public services in handling and managing various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. The Community Education Engagement Journal (CEEJ) journal specifically focuses on the results of community service activities in the multidisciplinary field of educational science. Community Education Engagement Journal (CEEJ) is published two times a year, April and October.

To ensure the quality, integrity, and ethical standards of manuscripts submitted to the Community Education Engagement Journal (CEEJ), authors must comply with the following requirements:

Similarity Index

The similarity index of the manuscript must be below 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors prior to the peer-review process.

AI Writing Detection

The AI-generated content detection score must be below 30%. Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools may only be used for language editing, grammar checking, or limited technical assistance, and must not be used to generate the main scientific content of the manuscript.

ORCID ID

All authors are required to have an ORCID ID and provide it during the manuscript submission process.

References Quality

Manuscripts must include a minimum of 20 references derived from relevant national and international scholarly sources published within the last 10 years. Authors are strongly encouraged to prioritize references from peer-reviewed journals indexed in reputable databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, or SINTA.

DOI Requirement

All references used in the manuscript should, where available, include a valid Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Statement of Originality

Authors must submit a Statement of Originality confirming that:

  • the manuscript is an original work,
  • it has not been published previously,
  • it is not currently under consideration by another journal, and
  • the manuscript is free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, and unethical publication practices.

Editorial Screening Policy

Manuscripts that do not comply with the above requirements may be returned to the authors during the initial editorial screening stage before proceeding to peer review.
