Abstract

This research thoroughly reviews several barriers that influence the mathematics learning process of sixth grade elementary school students. These factors include anxiety, lack of family support, ineffective learning methods, lack of understanding of previous mathematics concepts, and lack of interest and desire for mathematics. In addition, the research results provide suggestions for teachers and parents on how to overcome problems in mathematics learning, such as creating an interesting learning environment, using inventive teaching approaches, building a strong foundation of understanding, and increasing students' desire and interest in mathematics. It is known that there are many inhibiting factors that influence students' ability to understand and learn mathematics in grade VI elementary school, making learning mathematics a challenge in itself.
