ABSTRACT
Research this aiming for improve the learning process and improve the results learn students class VIII 3 of SMP Negeri 4 Siak Upstream through the application of the probing model prompting. As for the subject in research this total of 41 students . Research this held on July 25 , 2017 to September 20, 2017. Research this is research action class (PTK) consisting from two cycle . Instrument data collection used on research this is sheet observation and sheet test repeat daily . Based on the results research , look existence enhancement activity students which students more enthusiastic memperha tikan the teacher and too more fok us in concentrating follow lesson , brave asking and put forward opinion and too remembering back material that has been be delivered by the teacher. Based on the results learn students , increase the results learn seen from total students who reach KKM on score basic that is as much 17 students or 41.46 %, at repeat daily I amount sis wa who reached KKM as many as 24 students or 58.54 %, and total students who reach KKM on repeat Daily II as many as 28 students or 68.29%. Based on the average yield learn students on score basic namely 64 , 37 , replay daily I average yield learn students namely 70.49, and on repeat daily II average yield learn students namely 79.17. So that concluded that the application of the probing prompting model can improve the learning process and improve the results learn students VIII grade 3 SMP Nege ri 4 Siak Upstream year 2017/2018 teachings especially on material relation and function .
