Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Biologi di SMA Negeri Lawe Sumur Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve Biology learning outcomes at SMA Negeri Lawe Sumur. The type of this research is class action research (PTK) and the subjects of this research are students in class X SMA Negeri Lawe Sumur totaling 15 people. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the formula of average scores, percentage of learning completeness and observation data. From the results of the study it was concluded that learning using the Problem Based Learning model can improve Biology learning outcomes at SMA Negeri Lawe Sumur. This can be proven from the average value of students before applying the Problem Based Learning learning model is 54.67, students who score above 67 are 27%. From the results of cycle 1, the average score obtained was 73.33, students who scored above 67 were 67%. After cycle II obtained an average score of 84.00, students who scored above 67 were 93%, indicating that there was an increase in Biology learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning learning model.
