Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent of the supervision carried out by the Department of Environment and Sanitation (DLHK) of Pekanbaru City on the distribution of Temporary Waste Disposal Sites (TPS), particularly in Marpoyan Damai District. The research uses supervision indicators including procedures, standards, accuracy, performance measurement, and corrective actions. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collection conducted through interviews and direct interaction at the research site. This research is categorized as a descriptive survey, prioritizing questionnaires and interview guides as primary tools for data collection. The gathered data was then used to describe the actual conditions in accordance with the research objectives. The study focuses on measuring the effectiveness of DLHK's oversight in regulating TPS distribution, considering that supervision plays a crucial role in ensuring programs are implemented as intended. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the level of supervision by DLHK Pekanbaru on TPS distribution in Marpoyan Damai District falls into the category of moderately implemented.
