Abstract

Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada salah satu sekolah menengah atas swasta di kota Semarang. Sekolah ini merupakan sekolah pilihan terakhir bagi calon siswa SMA yang belum mendapatkan sekolah, sehingga semua calon siswa pendaftar diterima sebagai siswa pada setiap tahunnya tanpa seleksi yang kompetitif. 49 siswa dari dua kelas digunakan sebagai partisipan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan asesmen tentang kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karir pada siswa. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu adaptasi Career Decision Difficulties Questionnaire (CDDQ) yang telah diadaptasi pada kegiatatan penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil asesmen menunjukan 37 (75,51%) siswa mengalami kesulitan pada tahap persiapan pengambilan keputusan karir. Kondisi kesulitan pengambilan keputusan saat setelah masuk penjurusan dialami oleh 35 (71,43%) siswa. Hasil analisis kebutuhan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini merekomendasikan intervensi ketrampilan kongruensi yang melibatkan kompetensi untuk melakukan analisis sumber dana, analisis sumber daya, serta komunikasi interpersonal yang merupakan kompetensi yang diperlukan untuk pengambilan keputusan karir yang akurat.
