Fungsi Badan Permusyawaratan Kampung (BAPEKAM) Dalam Pembangunan Di Kampung Benteng Hulu Kecamatan Mempura Kabupaten Siak

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Village Consultative Body (BAPEKAM) functions in development in Benteng Hulu Village, Mempura District, Siak Regency. The indicators in this study are the functions of the Village Consultative Body, namely discussing and agreeing on Village Regulations with the Penghulu, accommodating and channeling the aspirations of the Village community, and supervising the performance of the Village Penghulu. The method used in this study is a descriptive and qualitative method. The techniques used for data collection in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the data analysis techniques used in this study, researchers went into the field to conduct research and concluded that the function of the Village Consultative Body (BAPEKAM) in the development of Benteng Hulu Village began with coordination between the Village Consultative Body, the Village Government, and the village community, but the lack of participation of BAPEKAM members and the community in deliberations and the lack of BAPEKAM supervision of the performance of the Village Government so that there are several developments that are not on target and not in accordance with their planning.
