IJTIMA’: Journal of Community Engagement is a scientific journal managed by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Riau (UIR). Since its initial publication, IJTIMA’ has undergone several important changes as part of its efforts to improve publication quality and journal management professionalism. The following is a historical note outlining key developments in the journal’s progress:

  1. Template Revision

Starting from Volume 2, Issue 1 (2025), IJTIMA’ implemented a new article template. This updated template was developed to align with current scientific writing standards and to enhance editorial and publishing structure. Improvements include:

  • A more structured article format
  • Clearly defined heading hierarchy
  • A consistent referencing style following APA (7th edition) guidelines

The previous template was used for Volume 1, Issue 1 (2024).
