IJTIMA’: Journal of Community Engagement

IJTIMA’: Journal of Community Engagement invites academics, researchers, lecturers, and practitioners from national and international institutions to join our peer-reviewer community.

IJTIMA’ is a scholarly journal managed by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Riau, Indonesia. The journal publishes scholarly articles focusing on community service, community engagement, empowerment, and sustainable societal development.

Areas of Expertise

We welcome reviewers with expertise in the following areas:

  • Community empowerment and social development

  • Local economic development

  • Entrepreneurship and MSME development

  • Financial literacy and community-based economics

  • Education and literacy

  • Public health and community well-being

  • Digital transformation and technology adoption

  • Environmental management and sustainability

  • Social welfare, gender, and inclusion

  • Governance and community capacity building

  • Other relevant fields of community engagement

Reviewer Qualifications

Applicants are expected to:

  1. Hold at least a Master’s degree or possess relevant professional expertise.

  2. Be affiliated with a university, research institution, government institution, professional organization, or other relevant organization.

  3. Have scholarly publications or professional experience relevant to the journal’s scope.

  4. Have an active Google Scholar and ORCID profile.

  5. Provide Scopus ID, SINTA ID, or Web of Science ResearcherID, if available.

  6. Be willing to conduct reviews objectively, constructively, confidentially, and ethically.

  7. Declare any potential conflict of interest.

  8. Complete assigned reviews within the timeframe established by the editorial team.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Selected reviewers will be expected to:

  • Evaluate manuscripts according to their area of expertise.

  • Provide objective, constructive, and scholarly recommendations.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and editorial correspondence.

  • Disclose potential conflicts of interest.

  • Follow IJTIMA’s peer-review and publication ethics policies.
