Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the readiness of Indonesia’s young generation, particularly students of SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru, in facing global career challenges and future industrial demands aligned with the vision of the Golden Generation 2045. The main issues identified include limited understanding of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 trends, lack of critical thinking and global communication skills, and insufficient mental preparedness for rapid workforce changes. The program was implemented through educational approaches such as interactive seminars, soft-skill development training, and career planning workshops based on 21st-century competencies. The results indicate improvements in students’ knowledge of global career opportunities, increased confidence in communication, and greater awareness of digital literacy and adaptability. Therefore, this program contributes to building the character and competencies of students who are globally competitive and supports the realization of Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045.
