The development of Jurnal Ekonomi KIAT reflects our continued commitment to academic excellence and scholarly communication.
Jurnal Ekonomi KIAT was established by the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Riau (UIR), as an academic platform to publish scholarly ideas and research in economics and development.
The journal was published in print twice a year, in June and December.
The editorial board was restructured under the Dean’s Decree of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIR No. 0410/KPTS/FEB-UIR/2025.

Beginning with Volume 36, Issue 1, the journal introduced a new manuscript template aligned with international academic publishing standards and the OJS 3 platform.
The update improved manuscript formatting, citation style, article layout, and overall design as part of the journal’s efforts to strengthen quality for national accreditation and international indexing.
