Implementasi Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan Menggunakan Media Gambar terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Biologi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kelayang

In the context of learning Natural Sciences (Science), learning planning must be designed in such a way as to optimize student potential in order to achieve learning goals effectively and efficiently. One way that can be done is by implementing an appropriate learning model. This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 5 Kelayang, especially in class VIII. The aim of this research is to describe the application of the Guided Inquiry learning model in integrated science subjects regarding plant structure and function at SMP Negeri 5 Kelayang. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of pre-cycle, cycles I and II. Cycles I and II consist of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 36 class VIII students. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive. The cognitive domain uses a post-test while the psychomotor domain uses an assessment rubric. The results of the research show that the application of the guided inquiry learning model can improve student learning outcomes in biology science subjects at SMP Negeri 5 Kelayang. The percentage of students who completed the Pre-Cycle was 16.1%, Cycle I 86.1%, and Cycle II 88.8%. Psychomotor aspects of cycle I 55.5%, and cycle II 63.8%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry learning model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated science subjects assisted by image media at SMP Negeri 5 Kelayang.
