Abstract

This research aims to describe English language learning for class VIII.a of SMP Negeri 10 Mandau on English language mastery or sepaking. This research is Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection with the research process: (1) Learning using the demonstration method (2) planning the form of class action in cycle II based on the results of reflection in cycle I. The subjects of this research were students in class VIII.a of SMP Negeri 10 Mandau in the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 32 students. Student learning outcomes show increased learning outcomes. In cycle I there were 2 students who did not complete. In cycle II all students had 100% completion. Therefore, teachers in deepening students' speaking should use the demonstration learning model.
