Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PKSP program, which aims to improve the productivity and welfare of oil palm farmers. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The key informants in this study were the head of the replanting team, farmers, and relevant officials from the Pelalawan Regency Agriculture and Livestock Service. The results show that the implementation of the PKSP program at KUD Bratajaya encountered various challenges, including a lack of understanding among farmers about the importance of replanting, limited access to resources and information, and doubts about the effectiveness of new techniques. Despite this, the program successfully increased the yields and incomes of participating farmers. Effective outreach, ongoing government support, and active farmer involvement are crucial for the program's success. This study suggests the need for increased outreach, technical support, access to financing, and strengthening networks among farmers to encourage participation and effectiveness of the PKSP program going forward. With these steps, it is hoped that this program can provide more significant benefits to the welfare of oil palm farmers in Pelalawan Regency.
