Pengelolaan Sampah Rumah Tangga Masyarakat Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Oleh Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kebersihan Kota Pekanbaru

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the process of managing household waste in the Rumbai Pesisir District community by the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service and to find out what obstacles the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service has in managing waste at the Rumbai Pesisir TPS. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. Meanwhile, the data analysis used is analysis consisting of three activity streams that occur simultaneously, namely: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions/verification. Based on the research results, it is known that the planning carried out by the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service is considered not optimal, this can be seen from the lack of law enforcement against transport that dumps waste at the Rumbai Pesisir TPS. The division of tasks has been carried out by the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service but it is based on sub-districts, not based on existing polling stations. The Head of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service has given assignment orders to employees at the Pekanbaru City Environment and Hygiene Service.
