Abstract

One of the government’s ways of dealing with poverty is by implementing the Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs program. The purpose of evaluation is the Sustainable Development Goals is to provide an overview of target achievement and analyze problems and causal factors. This research was conducted at the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency of Riau Province. The aim of this research aims to determine and explain the evaluation of the implementation of sustainable development goals by the Riau Province Research and Development Regional Development Planning Agency (Poverty First Goal Study) in Pekanbaru City. The theoretical concept used in this research is Nurcholis (2007:277). The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. Data was collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques with the triangulation analysis method. The factors that hinder the evaluation of the implementation of development goals (study of the first objective of poverty) in Pekanbaru City are lack of time discipline, human resources, unavailability of adequate reports, coordination and cooperation between agencies.
