Abstract

The PEKA (Pekan Kita) application is a complaint application for handling problems felt by the community against Pekanbaru city government services that are immediately resolved. This research was conducted to determine the quality of the application on public satisfaction using the application provided by the communication informatics statistics and coding office of Pekanbaru City. This type of research uses descriptive and quantitative methods, where primary data is obtained through observation and questionnaire distribution and secondary data is obtained through interviews with respondents. In this study, the authors used the theory of e-government quality, which has six dimensions of indicator assessment: ease of use, trust, functionality of the interaction, reliability, content and appearance, and citizen support. The results of this study indicate that the PEKA application has a fairly good application quality due to the unavailability of the search function because the application has a specific layout that is limited so that the layout design is simple and the unavailability of official contact information to be contacted if there are application problems. Therefore, the agency must further develop the features that users need to add in future updates.
