Abstract

Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) cultivation in Sekerak District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, faces challenges related to soil fertility and quality. This study aims to determine the status of soil fertility and soil quality using the VESS method on patchouli cultivation land. The results showed that soil fertility at all study sites was low. The soil quality assessment results were good to moderate. These findings emphasize the need for optimal soil fertility management to increase sustainable patchouli production.
