Plagiarism Policy

Proceedings of the International Conference on Agricultural Strategy for Sustainability (ICASS) upholds strict standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening prior to the review process.

1. Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

• Copying text, ideas, figures, or data from other sources without proper citation.
• Paraphrasing substantial parts of another’s work without acknowledgment.
• Self-plagiarism, i.e., reusing one’s own previously published work without disclosure or citation.
• Submitting the same manuscript to more than one publication simultaneously.

2. Similarity Check

All manuscripts submitted to ICASS are checked using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin). A similarity index of no more than 20% (excluding references and bibliography) is allowed. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be automatically rejected.

3. Editorial Actions on Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected, the editorial board may take one or more of the following actions:

• Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
• Notification to the corresponding author and co-authors.
• Reporting the case to the authors’ affiliated institution if serious misconduct is identified.</l
