Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis ksesuaian instrument pengajaran/praktik mengajar dengan model prolem-based learning (PBL). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji pada Maret-April 2025. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara purposive dengan total 28 mahasiswa sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan dokumentasi dan observasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari 28 mahasiswa, hanya 13 mahasiswa yang tetap dalam mengimplementasikan model PBL sedangkan 15 mahasiswa lainnya belum mampu menerapkannya secara tepat. Permasalahan utamanya adalah tahap orientasi masalah, di mana secara garis besar banyak mahasiswa belum mampu menyajikan permasalahan nyata di awal pelaksanaan pembelajaran PBL. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa bukan hanya pengetahuan yang baik, guru juga dituntut untuk mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran secara baik.
