About the Journal

WEDANA: Journal of Government, Politics and Bureaucracy is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal managed by the Laboratory of the Department of Government Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Islam Riau, Indonesia. The journal serves as an international platform for disseminating high-quality scientific knowledge through original research articles, theoretical and conceptual papers, and critical literature reviews in the fields of government, politics, public administration, and public policy.

The journal is committed to advancing interdisciplinary scholarship by promoting innovative perspectives, empirical evidence, and theoretical developments that contribute to the understanding and improvement of governance systems, political institutions, bureaucratic reform, and public policy at the local, national, regional, and global levels. WEDANA welcomes contributions from academics, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from Indonesia and around the world.

To maintain academic integrity and publication ethics, all submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal or publisher. Every submission undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, methodological rigor, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope.
