Author Processing Charges

WEDANA: Journal of Government, Politics, and Public Policy is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. To support the sustainability of high-quality scholarly publishing and ensure the long-term accessibility of published articles, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) only for manuscripts that have successfully completed the peer-review process and have been formally accepted for publication. This policy is consistent with common practice among reputable open-access journals.

Publication Fees

International Authors                   : USD 60 Per Accepted Manuscript
Indonesian (Domestic) Authors : IDR Rp. 1.000.000 Per Accepted Manuscript

Important Information 

• No Submission Fee. Authors are not charged for submitting their manuscripts.
• No Review Fee. The peer-review process is conducted free of charge.
• APC is payable only after acceptance. Payment instructions will be provided after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and has been formally accepted for publication.
• Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance and does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely based on originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal's scope.

The APC supports the costs associated with:

• Editorial processing and manuscript management;
• Professional copyediting and language editing;
• Layout editing and typesetting;
• DOI registration;
• Online publication and website maintenance;
• Long-term digital archiving and indexing support;
• Open-access dissemination, allowing unrestricted access to all published articles worldwide.

Payment Information

Payment details will be communicated to the corresponding author after the manuscript has received formal acceptance. Authors are requested not to make any payment before receiving an official Acceptance Letter and APC Invoice from the Editorial Office.
