Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Bermain Alat Musik Gitar melalui Metode Tutor Sebaya Kelas VII SMP 30 Pekanbaru

Effective classroom management is essential for practical music ensemble learning. Classical learning has not achieved optimal results, according to the researcher's experience. As a result, the researcher will try to use the peer tutor method to improve students' learning outcomes in playing group music in this study. This study was conducted through a classroom action research approach, and the methods used included quantitative and qualitative methods. This research divides the implementation process into three cycles, with each stage of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. This research collects data through observation, performance, questionnaire, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the peer tutor method was able to improve learning outcomes of playing recordings, (2) the peer tutor method was able to improve learning outcomes of playing piano, and (3) the peer tutor method was able to improve learning outcomes of playing guitar.
