UPAYA PEMBERANTASAN TINDAK PIDANA NARKOTIKA OLEH BADAN NARKOTIKA NASIONAL (BNNK) KUANTAN SINGINGI

Abstract

In Indonesia, narcotics crimes and illicit narcotics trafficking are a problem and are always discussed, because narcotics crimes are crimes that are difficult to eradicate. The rise in narcotics crime cases is currently declared as a country with an emergency and worrying situation. BNNK Kuantan Singingi attempts to carry out narcotics crimes using undercover buy and controlled delivery techniques. In implementation, both techniques have risks and there are several obstacles that make it difficult. The problems in this research will be reviewed using the theory of crime prevention efforts wich consist of preemptive, preventive, and represive. The research was conducted using qualitative methods with descriptive research type and the main research data was obtained through interviews with the head of the Kuantan Singingi BNNK, the head of general sub section, and the head of the eradication division and members. Based on the results of the interviews that have been conducted, there are many risks that are taken into consideration by investigators, such as security and supervision of undercover secret agents who will be very dangerous if their identity is revealed, the consequences of a failed arrest operation will be very fatal, for dealing with criminals.
