History & Development:

The Center for Law and Gender Studies at the Islamic University of Riau is a group of female and male academics from the Islamic University of Riau with diverse academic backgrounds. Established in 2021 by Decree of the Rector of the Islamic University of Riau No. 002a/UIR/KPTS/2021

Focus & Scope:

The Center for Law and Gender Studies (PSHG) reflects its commitment to balanced gender relations and accessibility. PSHG publishes cutting-edge research on the development of gender studies in developing countries, the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), law, social development, and economics. It advances transdisciplinarity through social science, humanities, and policy approaches.
