Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa dengan Menggunakan Metode Talking Stik pada Mata Pelajaran Seni Budaya

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Cultural Arts subjects in class XI SMA Negeri 14 Pekanbaru, Riau Province by using the “Talking Stick” method. This type of research is class action research (PTK). The population of this study was all students of class XI, while the sample used was class XI which was randomly selected. The research instruments were learning outcome tests and student activity observation sheets. Data analysis techniques used include descriptive and inferential analysis to see the improvement of student learning outcomes before and after the application of the method. The results showed that the use of the “Talking Stick” method significantly improved student learning outcomes, as well as increased student participation and involvement in the learning process. It is hoped that these findings can make a positive contribution to teaching strategies in schools, as well as a reference for teachers in implementing more effective learning methods.
