Abstract

Learning literature such as prose, poetry and drama aims to enable students to enjoy, understand and utilize literary works to develop personalities, broaden their outlook on life and improve their knowledge and language skills. Based on the results of observations made, the ability to analyze the relationship between the intrinsic elements of short stories of class X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang students is low. The problems studied in this research are (1) how the learning process analyzes the relationship between the intrinsic elements of short stories and everyday life using the jigsaw method for class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Tambang, (2) how to increase the ability to analyze the relationship between the intrinsic elements of short stories with daily life through the jigsaw method for class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. (3) how does the behavior of class X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang change in behavior? The jigsaw method can be used as an alternative learning method to analyze the relationship between the intrinsic elements of short stories and everyday life, because this has been proven to increase student competence and change the behavior of class X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang students in a positive direction.
