Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the stunting program conducted by the Gunung Bungsu Village Outpatient Health Center (UPT Rawat Puskesmas), Kampar Regency. This program is part of stunting reduction efforts in Indonesia, focusing on toddlers and pregnant women in the area. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach to identify factors influencing the program's effectiveness and implementation. Data collection methods used were in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation.

The results indicate that although the stunting reduction program has been implemented through various activities such as supplementary feeding (PMT) and nutrition counseling, the program still faces several obstacles. These include the inaccurate distribution of logistics, the limited number of integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres, and the lack of community participation, especially in remote areas. Evaluation based on the dimensions of effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy indicates that despite progress, improvements are still needed in terms of service equity and strengthening coordination between relevant sectors. This study provides recommendations for program improvements, including increasing access to health services in remote villages, strengthening the logistics distribution system, and adjusting the program's implementation time to better align with community needs.
