Abstract

The nutritional status of children under five in Indonesia is still a problem, including malnutrition, malnutrition and stunting. Stunting can hamper economic growth, increase poverty and inequality in various regions, including Bengkalis Regency. The high prevalence of stunting has a negative impact on children's growth and overall public health. Therefore, a focused program is needed to handle and prevent stunting. Qualitative research is carried out in natural settings to explore related social phenomena. Qualitative research is carried out in natural settings. The reason the author uses a qualitative method is because this method describes in full and in depth the social phenomenon being studied. The researcher chose this method because it was considered the most suitable method for identifying problems regarding the implementation of the Stunting Children's Foster Care Program (BAAS). This method was chosen to identify problems in implementation Foster Father Program for Stunting Children (BAAS). The research results show that the Coordinator and Facilitator indicators are running well, but further evaluation is needed regarding the implementers, especially in terms of fulfilling human resources. Overall, the Accelerator, Coordinator and Facilitator indicators have gone quite well. The StakeholderĀ  needs to increase the effectiveness of socialization of the BAAS Program through collaboration and coordination with other parties.
