The oil and gas industry is a global sector in which English is widely used as the primary language for technical, operational, and safety-related communication. However, industry-oriented English competencies have not yet been sufficiently introduced in a contextual manner at the secondary school level. This community service activity aims to enhance students’ understanding of commonly used English terminology in the oil and gas industry through an industry-based approach supported by real field examples. The implementation methods include industry awareness sessions, technical terminology training, interactive discussions, and evaluations of participant comprehension. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of basic oil and gas terminology, particularly in upstream and downstream activities, surface production facilities, and occupational safety aspects. This program is expected to strengthen industrial literacy and serve as a bridge between school-based English learning and the actual needs of the energy sector workforce.
