Pengaruh Penggunaan Variasi Bahan Kimia Repulping Aid dalam Penghilangan Resin Wet Strength pada Tisu High Wet Tensile

Penggunaan resin wet strength pada pembuatan tisu menimbulkan gumpalan serat (white spot) saat limbah produk tisu (broke) diolah kembali (repulping). White spot ini dapat dihilangkan dengan menggunakan bahan kimia repulping aid yang bersifat oksidatif seperti hidrogen peroksida, natrium hipoklorit serta sodium dichlorotriazine dehydrate. Dengan menggunakan ke tiga repulping aid ini akan ditentukan bahan mana yang paling tepat digunakan pada repulping broke high tensile tissue. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan meninjau dosis optimum dan save time yang dihasilkan. Sebagai sampel digunakan broke towel tissue dengan wet strength 350 gf/ 25 mm. Eksperimen repulping menunjukkan white spot paling rendah diberikan sodium dichlorotriazine dehydrate dengan dosis 5 kg/ton pada putaran 3000 rpm. Save time yang didasarkan pada nilai refining adalah 44,3% pada penggunaan hidrogen peroksida 5% dengan pH 11, natrium hipoklorit dengan dosis 2,5% memiliki save time 49,8% dan sodium dichlorotriazine dehydrate dengan save time sebesar 72,8%.
