Abstract

This study aims to analyze digital media trend in chemistry learning in high school during COVID-19 and
after COVID-19 with a bibliometric approach. This research uses bibliometric methods quantitatively by
involving the trend of publications of scientific articles to identify patterns and trend in the relationship of
existing literature. That exists. The focus of this study is a scientific publication that discusses digital media
trend in learning chemistry at the high school level, both during & after the COVID-19 pandemic. Data
sources for this research were obtained through appropriate data collection to collect relevant data, which
is carried out by involving article searches using several search engines keywords through the intermediary
of Publish or Perish (PoP) software & Google Scholar database with. Selected from 1000 articles that have
been sorted into 200 pertinent articles which are then analyzed bibliometrically using VOSviewers. Based
on the trend of digital media trend articles analyzed to have a percentage when COVID-19 has a
percentage of 29% with a trend that is found about 59 related articles whereas, after COVID-19 has a
percentage of 71% with a trend found around 141 related articles. Can It’s known that after COVID-19
digital media is still being used and is even growing & increasing. The most frequently used digital media
& digital teaching materials during COVID-19 & increasing and developing after COVID-19 are interactive
video digital media and e-book digital teaching materials.
