PENILAIAN KINERJA PSIKOMOTORIK SISWA PADA PRAKTIKUM TITRASI ASAM BASA

This research departs from the problem of chemistry learning which is still limited to activities in the
classroom, so that students’ psychomotor aspects are less monitored. This research aimed at finding out
the student performance ability level in carrying out chemistry practical work on Acid-Base Titration lesson
by using a performance assessment instrument in the form of questionnaire to assess student psychomotor
abilities. This research was conducted at State Senior High School 4 Tapung and Senior High School of
YLPI Pekanbaru. It was quantitative descriptive research. The samples were 17 the eleventh-grade
students of Natural Science at State Senior High School 4 Tapung and 22 the eleventh-grade students of
Natural Science 2 at Senior High School of YLPI Pekanbaru. The methods of collecting data were
observation to obtain the data of student behaviour during practical work activities, interview to find out
more about the respondents researched, and documentation to strengthen the data results obtained. The
findings show that the average students’ skills State Senior High School 4 Tapung was 76.02%, and student
Senior High School of YLPI Pekanbaru was 72.67%, both in the “Good” category
