Abstract

This research aims to find out how the implementation of preventing and eradicating drug trafficking in Pekanbaru City by the National Narcotics Agency of Pekanbaru City and to find out the obstacles to implementing preventing and eradicating drug trafficking in Pekanbaru City by the National Narcotics Agency of Pekanbaru City. By using a descriptive research approach with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used in research are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis process in this research was carried out through four stages, namely Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing. From the results of research conducted regarding the Implementation of Prevention and Eradication of Drug Trafficking in Pekanbaru City by the Pekanbaru City National Narcotics Agency, it is known that if the Implementation of Prevention and Eradication of Drug Trafficking has not been implemented well, this is because resources are still limited in the Implementation of Prevention and Eradication, and there are shortages. facilities and infrastructure to support prevention and eradication activities so that it becomes an obstacle to implementation in the field, as well as operational standards and responsibilities that are not yet maximized due to efforts to carry out the duties and functions of an employee's job which is concurrently for several tasks or jobs.
