Abstract

Investment is one of the most important and vital variables in the economic activities of each country. Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR) is the ratio of investment to GDP which is one of the macro indicators of the level of efficiency of an economy. Riau Province's investment value has a large contribution to economic growth. This makes the level of investment efficiency in Riau Province very important. The method of analysis in this study is descriptive analysis, namely explaining the results of table and graphic analysis. While the ICOR calculation method uses the standard ICOR method. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Provincial BPS and the Riau Province Integrated Investment Service, including GRDP data by business sector and GRDP data by expenditure. The results of the study show that investment activities carried out in Riau Province during the 2019-2021 period were relatively efficient in terms of investment activities. developing economy in Riau Province.
