ANALISIS TINGKAT KEMISKINAN PADA ERA RESESI 2023 DI JAWA TIMUR
Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused less stable economic growth in Indonesia and raised questions about the possibility of a recession in 2023. In this study, a method of quantitative description is used. The sample data used in this research is from the eastern Java province, where there are 39 districts. The results of the study show that population numbers have a significant influence on the poverty rate, and the unemployment rate has a significant impact on poverty rates. The government is expected to always seek investors to invest in the East Java real estate sector, which could potentially lift people out of poverty and create jobs.
