The Effectiveness of Using the Think Pair and Share Method to Improve the Maharoh Kitabah of Senior High School

Abstract

Maharah Kitabah is a student's activity in making asentence with the rules of writing and the rules for composing a sentence by someone for certain purposes. The design of this research is experimental, namely using a pre-experimental design by comparing the results of the class before being given treatment with the class after being given treatment. Data collection techniques form of observation, interviews, tests and documentation. From the test data, it can be seen that the average pretest score with 22 students getting an average score of 48,5 and the posttest getting an average score of 78,8. The difference between the average scores of the two is 30. increase in the class after the treatment. From the data presentation, it can be seen that r table & r count means the item is declared valid, compared to r table which is 0.388, the result of which is greater Cronbach's alpha (0.707) so the item is declared reliable, and the Sig (2-tailed) result 0.003<0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
