Based on research results, the family environment has a large role in shaping the social and emotional development of early childhood. A harmonious and loving home atmosphere provides children with a sense of security and emotional stability, allowing them to grow up with a good sense of self-confidence. In addition, open communication patterns between parents and children are a key factor in building children’s social skills. Children who are used to dialogue and being listened to by their parents will find it easier to express their feelings and interact with their peers. Another influencing factor is the involvement of other family members, such as grandparents, who can enrich children’s social experiences and help them manage emotions and build healthy interpersonal relationships. Apart from that, this research also highlights the impact of technology use on children’s lives. The results show that children who interact too much with gadgets tend to experience difficulties in face-to-face communication, which can hinder their social development. Therefore, it is important for parents to manage their time using technology so that it is balanced with direct social interaction. These findings are in line with child development theory which emphasizes the importance of social interaction in building emotional intelligence and social skills. By understanding these factors, parents can create a family environment that is more conducive to optimally supporting the social and emotional development of early childhood
