Analisis Dampak Keterlibatan Orang Tua dalam Mendampingi Anak pada Jam Belajar Sekolah di RA Takrimah Tungkob Aceh

RA Takrimah Tungkob, Aceh, is an educational institution that emphasizes the importance of collaboration between schools and parents in supporting children's learning. This study aims to analyze the forms and impacts of parental involvement during study hours at RA Takrimah Tungkob, focusing on its influence on children's independence, learning motivation, and social development. The study examines both the positive and negative impacts of direct parental involvement during school hours on children, while also providing insights into the context of early childhood education in Aceh, which has not been extensively explored. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using purposive sampling techniques, involving three teachers and three parents as participants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation conducted in September 2024. Data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study reveals that parental involvement positively impacts communication between teachers and parents and provides emotional support to children. However, excessive involvement during study hours negatively affects children’s focus and independence. Activities outside regular study hours, such as school events, are found to be more suitable for fostering effective parental involvement. This research emphasizes the necessity of structured and limited parental involvement in activities outside core learning hours to enhance learning outcomes without disrupting children’s focus or independence. The main limitation of this study lies in the small sample size, which restricts the generalization of findings. Further studies with larger and more diverse samples are recommended to validate and expand upon these findings.
