The road improvement project Simpang Beringin- Maredan the Riau provincial government project which was held in the project budget in 2014. The project is located on a road which is one of the access roads to the Siak. The problem of this research is about how much time and cost required if done crash program by using the method of adding new workers , as well as the alternative use on Jalan Simp . Banyan - Maredan to achieve optimal results. The method used is the method of adding new workers . Based on the results of research and calculations with network planning method critical path ( CPM ) and accelerated by using the method of adding new workers can be concluded that from 88 working days to 81 working days , the importance of the efficiency of project implementation time amounted to 7.954 % or faster 7 days of the initial duration . The results of the comparison obtained additional labor costs due to a new method of Rp. 37,854,600.00 and methods overtime Rp. 23,280,000.00. Results from the study showed the optimal duration of more cost efficient on the alternative methods of overtime.
