[ID] Air bersih merupakan kebutuhan pokok bagi kehidupan manusia, khususnya di perkotaan. Semakin bertambah jumlah penduduk maka kebutuhan akan air bersih juga akan semakin meningkat. Untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih di Kota Bangkinang diperlukan evaluasi terhadap kinerja pelayanan dan operasional PDAM Tirta Kampar yang mensuplai air bersih untuk Kabupaten Kampar. Kinerja pelayanan dan operasional dapat diketahui melalui penilaian terhadap kebutuhan air bersih domestik dan non domestik, kualitas air PDAM Tirta Kampar, tingkat kebocoran atau tingkat kehilangan air pada PDAM Tirta Kampar serta tingkat ketelitian meter air pada pelanggan PDAM Tirta Kampar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kebutuhan air berih domestik dan non domestik, kebutuhan air domestik dan nondomestik dari tahun ke tahun semakin miningkat seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah penduduk. Kualitas air yang diberikan PDAM kepada pelanggan cukup terjamin dari segi rasa, bau, warna sudah sesuai dengan standar depertemen kesehatan. Tingakat kehilangan air dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2012 sebesar 3.008 liter/detik dan diperkirakan mencapai 6.805 liter/hari pada tahun 2025. ketelitian dalam pencatatan meteran air yang dilakukan oleh petugas PDAM dirasakan pelanggan dalam pembayaran rekening air baik dan sesuai.
[EN] Clean water is a basic requirement for human life, especially in urban areas. Increasing the population of the need for clean water will also increase. To be able to meet the needs of clean water in the city Bangkinang necessary to evaluate the operational performance of the service and PDAM Tirta Kampar which supplies clean water to Kampar. Operational and service performance can be determined through an assessment of the water needs of domestic and non-domestic, water quality PDAM Tirta Kampar, the leakage rate or the rate of loss of water in PDAM Tirta Kampar and the level of accuracy of water meters on customers PDAM Tirta Kampar. Data was collected by observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the amount of water needs berih domestic and non-domestic, domestic and non-domestic water needs from year to year is miningkat in line with population growth. The quality of water supplied to the customer taps is guaranteed in terms of taste, smell, color is in conformity with the standards of the Ministry of Health. Tertiary water loss from year to year has increased in 2012 amounted to 3,008 liters / second and is estimated to reach 6805 liters / day by 2025. The water meter accuracy in recording conducted by officers PDAM customer perceived in the payment of water bills is good and appropriate.
