Abstract

This research uses descriptive analysis using qualitative data Tari Manjolang Sonjo have the following meanings Manjolang means ahead, Sonjo means twilight, so Manjolang Sonjo means dusk. This dance tells the various human activities are carried out in everyday life that they specifically do at dusk. This dance alwalnya only in traction by the men, but at the moment this dance bias danced by women. In this dance does not use the property and accompanied by music instrument tradisinal Kampar. Costumes used in this dance is short kebaya dress with the color green colored clothes and ornaments patch foliage, wearing a headdress in the form of green cloth and yellow. Research on the Analysis Manjolang Sonjo is a movement composed of motion worship, steps, movement of horses and movement of the cover, the music using musical instruments accordions, bebano, gong, violin, drums, kompang, Marwas, and psaltery, wearing a yellow and brown, dance floor design of straight lines and curved lines.
