MANAJEMEN INOVASI APLIKASI SISTEM INFORMASI KEARSIPAN DINAMIS TERINTEGRASI (SRIKANDI) DI DINAS PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KEARSIPAN KOTA PEKANBARU

Abstract

 This study aims to examine how the innovation management of the Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System (SRIKANDI) application is implemented at the Library and Archives Office of Pekanbaru City. The research is motivated by the suboptimal implementation of digital archive systems, as reflected in the uneven use of the application, technical infrastructure issues, and moderate user satisfaction. A descriptive qualitative method was used with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the adoption of the application is still concentrated in administrative units; time efficiency is not yet stable due to network disruptions; and user satisfaction remains moderate due to complex features and limited training. Innovation management has not been fully realized because of limited human resources, insufficient technical support, and weak institutional commitment. Therefore, strategies such as improving staff capacity, simplifying system features, and strengthening infrastructure are necessary to support an effective and sustainable digital transformation in archival management.
