Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the implementation of the duties of the Pekanbaru City Women's and Children's Empowerment Service in Handling Domestic Violence (Case Study of Marpoyan Damai District). The research method used is a qualitative method. The theory used is Implementation theory with specified indicators, namely: Communication, Resource Disposition and Bureaucratic Structure. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. Results of research on the Implementation of the Tasks of the Pekanbaru City Women's and Children's Empowerment Service in Handling Domestic Violence (Case Study of Marpoyan Damai District. Implemented through the socialization of policies and programs for prevention and early detection of risk factors. Early detection of domestic violence risk factors is a step to early discovery of factors which are potentially dangerous and can trigger acts of violence against certain individuals or groups. Through this effort, it is hoped that it will be able to prevent acts of domestic violence and prevent repeat acts from occurring.
