ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN NILAI TAMBAH PADA AGROINDUSTRI KERUPUK IKAN KARYA BUNDA DESA PANGKALAN BATANG BARAT KECAMATAN BENGKALIS

Abstract

Agroindustry is an activity that utilizes agricultural products to be processed into economically valuable goods. One type of agroindustry that makes use of fishery products is the “Karya Bunda” agroindustry, which processes fish into fish crackers. Currently, fish cracker production is one of the alternative efforts to develop the rural economy. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of entrepreneurs, business profiles, raw material procurement, supporting materials, production technology, production processes, costs, income, efficiency, and added value. The method used in this research is a survey method. The study was conducted over six months, from March 2022 to August 2022. The results show that the average age of the entrepreneurs is 44 years, with an average education of 10 years, 10 years of business experience, and an average family size of 3 persons. Raw materials are sufficiently available, and the technology used consists of semi-modern equipment, with an average production capacity of 28 kg per production process. The average total production cost is IDR 924,278.59 per process, gross income is IDR 1,120,000, net income is IDR 195,721.41, and the RCR value is 1.21. The added value obtained is IDR 68,500 per kilogram of raw materials. It is recommended that fish cracker entrepreneurs use better technology to increase production and consider selling ready-to-eat fried crackers to make consumption more convenient for customers.
