Focus and Scope
J-LELC: Journal of Language Education, Linguistics, and Culture is a scientific publication facility managed by the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Islam Riau. Its purpose is as a vehicle for scientific publications in the form of research results, theory development, experiments, and literature reviews. The frequency of publication is quarterly, published three times a year in February, June and October. The article assessment process involves two reviewers who have relevant disciplines to the author's article. Furthermore, the results of the reviewer's assessment are followed up by the editor to be decided.
This journal focused to publish high-quality articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding research, issues, and developments in the fields of Indonesian Language and Literature Education.
- Philosophy of education: Philosophy of education covers aims of education, nature of education, importance of education, function of education its very old and essential part of education.
- Methods of teaching: In ancient time the learners were passive listeners but now they actively participate with the teacher in the process of education. So, the skill and proficiency of difference teaching methods needs to be developed.
- Problems & issues of education: This scope includes problems of teaching management of education and suggestion and remedies for it.
- Educational technology: It is very recent branch that has come under the scope of education. It makes education a technical and systematic subject through application of technology in teaching-learning process.
- Indonesian language education, includes studies on linguistic learning, phonological learning, morphological learning, syntax learning, semantic learning, pragmatic learning, discourse learning, sociolinguistic learning, psycholinguistic learning, and neurolinguistic learning.
- Indonesian literature education, includes studies on learning poetry, learning prose fiction, and learning drama and film.
- Indonesian, includes studies on linguistics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and neurolinguistics.
- Indonesian Literature, includes studies on poetry, prose fiction, drama and film with structural approaches, stylistics, semiotics, sociology of literature, psychology of literature, psychoanalysis, literary ecology, deconstruction, philology, phenomenology, marxism, postcolonialism, feminism, literary reception , and literary anthropology.
