International Journal of Scientific Research https://journal.uir.ac.id/index.php/ijsr <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>International Journal of Scientific Research (IJSR) </strong><strong>is a journal that publishes scientific articles in the English language based on scientific research activities. IJSR registered to the ISSN </strong>1234-5678 (print) and 1234-567x (online), all articles throughout a double-blind review process before publishing. Publication twice a year which is in January and June every year under Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) publication house UIR Press. IJSR published the first edition in Volume 1 Number 1 in the month of January 2021 with reference to the quality of the article to be published. Research results and applications are compiled in a manuscript and then through the reviewer process by appointment of a reviewer to the related field with manuscript discipline and topic. Desk evaluation and plagiarism check are applied in IJSR before continuing to the next review process to make sure all manuscript submitted to IJSR is original and not duplication from others. References writing tools were also applied in this IJSR to make sure a correct citation index such as Mendeley. This study employed a systematic review methodology, with 42 from 2017 to 2023 existing articles completed on SMMA and customers' intention and satisfaction based on an inclusion/exclusion criterion. The method used to collect data was a systematic strategy, and the obtained data were analyzed using content analysis. Collected were from Emerald, Google Scholar, Research Gate, Wiley online library, Tyler, and Francis. The findings of this study were collected using a thematic method, which involved extracting previous researchers' findings from the literature, classifying similar themes and findings, and drawing conclusions. According to the findings of this review,</em> <em>SMMA Commercialization, entertainment, and promotions have the highest effect on trust and loyalty. Social SMMA influences brand loyalty and brand awareness. SMMA helps sellers inspire consumers with social, reward, and empowerment incentives, which can influence customer behavioral outcomes such as acquisition intention, loyalty intention, and participation intention. The review recommends that businesses capitalize on social media's impact on customer purchasing decisions by encouraging engagement, improving product quality, offering fair prices, and focusing on social media content. Analytics tools can track user behavior, and providing feedback is crucial for establishing SM's credible customer relationship Management Avenue. Socialization motivation, exclusive deals, and timely responses can boost customer confidence and online purchases. Future researchers should undertake test experimental designs to measure social media marketing's impact on customer response and satisfaction, explore consumer perceptions of information overload, analyze longitudinal studies, examine moderator roles, and improve SMM efforts</em></p> Alemayehu Bakalo Chalchissa Copyright (c) 2023 International Journal of Scientific Research 2024-03-08 2024-03-08 4 1 1 8 The Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on school girl-child aged 12-18 under URDT Programme in Mid-western Uganda https://journal.uir.ac.id/index.php/ijsr/article/view/16304 <p>The purpose of the study was to examine the<strong>&nbsp;</strong>impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on school-going girls aged 12-18 under the Uganda Rural Development and Traning Program (URDT) in Mid-western Uganda. The study adopted a descriptive design within a cross-sectional research design, using quantitative approaches. 339 respondents were randomly selected from among Epicenter Managers, graduates of African Rural University (ARU), as well as staff of the URDT Programme. The study was carried out in the six districts of mid-western Uganda, which were purposively selected. Data was analysed using SPSS, and presented using descriptive statistics whereas qualitative was analysed using content analysis and presented using verbatim quotations. Covid-19 had an adverse impact on the provision of necessary scholastic materials to the pupils. Findings indicate that the proportion of students who suffered from flue at least twice was 62.5% before the pandemic, it increased by 16.2% to 78.7% after the lockdown, confirming that the pandemic increased, or coincided with a post-lockdown increase in, the incidence of flu among school&nbsp;girls.</p> Chrispo maali Copyright (c) 2024 International Journal of Scientific Research 2024-04-06 2024-04-06 4 1
